Studies on human psychology have proven that when motivation is intristic, you're much more likely to stick to your goals. Goals based purely on aesthetic improvements are not powerful enough to propel you until you reach that goal. Instead of basing your fitness goals on looks, focus on the true reason you want to make a change for. How is the goal related to your physical appearance? Why will this make you happy. Keep asking why over and over. You will inevitably find a very deep answer that you probably weren't aware of. It will change you, and your life.
An inspired workout can be completely different from a workout without inspiration. Which is usually the main difference between people that get results and people that don't. Inspiration is just as important as the workout itself. It will get you far.
